Dr. Akanksha Mohan grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, completed medical school at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and general radiology residency at the University of North Carolina. In her free time, she likes to choreograph dance classes and spend time with her family and friends. Akanksha is now working as a breast radiologist in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Athena Jones is a journalist with more than two decades of experience working in wire services and in print and broadcast media. A skilled writer, moderator and public speaker, Athena began her career at Bloomberg News in Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina and covered the 2008 campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama for NBC and the National Journal. She spent 13 years at CNN and served as White House correspondent and national correspondent. Athena is a breast cancer survivor, diagnosed twice in her 30s, and is co-directing/co-producing a feature documentary on Black women, breast cancer and health equity.
Annie Bond is a comedian, content creator, and patient advocate from Austin, TX, with over 100k followers. Since being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer at 26, Annie has used her experience to educate and advocate for a better future for all cancer patients, speaking at hospitals and events across the country. She will celebrate her 10 year diagnosis anniversary later this year!

Andrea Hans manages public policy at the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship. Her breast cancer diagnosis in 2021, as an otherwise young healthy adult who found her own lump and was repeatedly told she was "too young", served as a call to action. With a background in public health, Andrea has become an active voice in breast health policy and advocacy.

Catrina Marcell is a Triple Negative Breast Cancer Survivor who advocates for others by being a voice for other young and older women diagnosed with Breast Cancer who don’t feel they have a voice. She has been a Cohort One Tigerlily Angel Advocate since 2021, using her voice for shareable resources that medical teams may not provide based on health and race disparities. She works within the community of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area to bring awareness about the need for better treatment options, patient support, and early detection in the Breast Cancer Communities. She recently launched Catrina Marcell Consulting, a soon to be 501(c )(3), which helps those impacted by the complexities of breast cancer with advocacy, education, and resources.
