Tal Ben-Shahar is an author and lecturer who taught the most popular course at Harvard University on "Positive Psychology," and founder of the Happiness Studies Academy. Shahar consults and lectures around the world to executives in multinational corporations, the general public, and at-risk populations on topics including leadership, ethics, happiness. He is a serial entrepreneur and the co-founder and chief learning officer of the Happiness Studies Academy (HSA), Potentialife, Maytiv, and HappierTV. Shahar earned his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and B.A. in Philosophy and Psychology from Harvard.
Andrea Wolf and Tal Ben-Shahar will discuss how positivity and antifragility can play a role in the fight against breast cancer and COVID-19, and will share how we can utilize mindfulness tools in times of crises and to fight against disease. Dr. Brem will share the state of breast care during COVID-19 and share her own story about her battle with the disease.
All funds raised through this event will benefit the Brem Foundation. Your contribution will educate women about the importance of early detection of breast cancer, teach self-advocacy, train physicians in the newest technologies in early diagnosis and in compassionate care, provide vital screenings and diagnostic tests, and transportation to and from breast care appointments for women in need.
